Superman was embarrassed . .

This is indeed embarassing . . however, YL and myself manage to salvage a fulfilling dinner without the need to pay a single cent.

I came home from work at about 6 plus. YL was on leave and stayed home to piah the Korean drama starred by Rain. I checked out my fishes and had cake left for her (Sc's birthday cake . . I kapo some from office! for her . . .). She was done and and we had shower. We planned to go Tampines and grab some dinner and some movie. While waiting for her to get ready, I switched on the TV and caught the drama by Li Nanxin and Li Minshun. It was the last few episodes so . . I oso wanna piah finish the show before going out! So too bad, YL had to wait . . just when the show was about to finish YL received a call. It was from our friendly neighbour Mandy calling from downstairs! She got a bbq, and invited us to go down eat. Hmm . . YL accepted it, and I felt * dont you find it strange?? * hmm . .

Right after the show, I configure the video timer recording for the 9-o'clock show by Huang Wenyong. We then proceed downstairs for the bbq . . my intention was to say * hello * and f**k off. Here's what happen . . . .

Superman and YL said * Hello Mandy! *
Mandy * Hello! Where are you all going? *
Superman and YL said * We're going to Tampines for dinner *
Then here comes a lady called Irene * Hello! Please help yourself with the bbq. I'm the "PR manager" for this event so if you need anything just let me know. *
Superman said * oh thanks thanks *
Superman then whispered into YL's ear * shall we just quickly go? *
Next, Mandy brought some otah, and YL continued talking to Mandy.
Superman said * hmm . . who bought the otah? taste damn nice! *
Mandy responded * me! me! well, shall we grab a chair and seat down? *
Superman brought the plate of otahs and proceed to the table. Mandy, again brought another plates of otah, chicken wings and fish balls! YL got a plate of rojak!
Superman said * wah *

Here comes along Johnny * hello! would you all like to have something to drink? do you all drink wine? *
Superman said * well, I'm fine with water *

We sat down at the table and start eating when John, Mandy's hubby, another friendly neighbour of ours appeared and shouted * hello all! *
Mandy took some curry with mee hoon for John. Superman saw it and thought they taste nice. So he asked Mandy to go along with him to get the food.

Superman was helped by two maids, who were doing the bbqing. Took lotsa mee hoon, curry chicken with kantang, and bbq wings * Thank you, thank you. Can I have one those too? * He's referring to the sotong which is still in the process of bbqing.
* Not done, not done! *, replied the maid.

John was busy socialising with the rest of the people. He didnt know all, but recognise his immedite neighbors, who organised this bbq. Irene was their frd, and they invited some other neighbors as well. After the fulfilling dinner, all the embarassment was gone. We sat down together and started chatting.

We forgot about Tampines.

It was a fun night. It's like meeting new neighbors session, and it was indeed one-kind of it. We knew the neighbors living across the block, one of the pionner batch who moved in. We learnt of many gossips too, like the "boxer" story. Oh it was sh*ty.

Neverthesless, I had a great night.


We'd finished watching the Huang Wenyong show. At least Singapore is now showing some practical and realistic shows on TV. The story reflected real family problems in the current world which we live. I've learnt and seen it myself. Not sure how many out there watching it realise it.

It was going well until the moment when I was about to sleep. Dont wish to elaborate further but ncelegs will know what happened. He heard my complains. Well, I promised him some stuff, and that depend on whether muscleman is stepping up to help too. Will check it out.
