There're a couple of things that took me by surprise in the past two or three days. Nevertheless, this is how life is made interesting and unpredictable with different spice to it.
Waiting at a lift
The lift door opens. A chinese man and a seem to-be pregant chinese woman walked into the lift. She stood near the lift buttons while the other was pressing for the 59F. Just when the door was about to close, the chinese guy saw two indians coming. Alright, he pressed "door open" button. The two indians politely said *Thank you*. Immediately after them was followed by a big sized lady caucasian, a chinese guy in his mid or late forties, along with another indian of about the same age. The caucasian lady was polite too, saying *Thank you* to the first chinese guy like the two indians did. The other two, a chinese and indian, were together as they were seen talking to each other happily. They both walked into the lift, pressed their buttons, and talked. The pregnant lady still staring at the buttons. The two indians also chatting away.
I had experience of rushing to the lift and people seeing me rushing for it. I saw before in my eyes people behaving like the pregnant lady. Some were good as they stared at you. I also met people like the chinese guy, and I always responded with a *Thank you* too. It's a form of courtesy (which I believe a lot is missing in Singapore) and a show of appreciation (especially when you are rushing for a very important meeting). I'm amazed as out of 5 passengers in the lift, 3 responded politely. I expected 0.
Singing at s9
Frankly, my body was weak and not at 100% since catching cold on Sunday evening. I swallowed 2 flu tablets on Sunday and Monday night before sleep. I was feeling f**king drowsy on Monday throughout the day. Just when the greenish flam caught in my nosetrils and throat I found myself standing infront of the 20inch TV listening to the music playing *I believe*. I was amazed to be able to finish the song. Sc's wife was listening, while brother Fatt and Sc were playing pool.
The flam and flu thingy is still in me.
And now YL got it too.
Musselman's inside play with Jason Jun
You cant deny the fact that Jason Jun's passes are magnificant and he carries the mentality of *pass first, then shoot*. In Thursday's game at HC, he received a couple of passes from Dave/Elvis/Muscleman at the high post area. Once he turned around he saw a flash (= flesh) cutting through the lane. Without hesitation, he threw a lightning quick undercut to the Musselman for an easy layup. I didnt find this amazing, since Jason Jun's passes are always there, and the easy layup is always expected to be made. The stun came when this time round Musselman received passes in the paint (nearer to the high post area). Jason Jun, by nature, will cut into the paint underneath the basket. He, Musselman, can threw up lightning quick passes to Jason Jun too. Here he goes, making a tough reversed layup to prevent a block from Dunhill. On another play, Jason Jun received a pass from WS at the low post area, behind Gerald. A touch pass to the musselman who cut though the middle of the lane made an easy layup, again. The two-men's play repeated and continued, with each scoring at least 10 points and dishing out 5 assists. They were informidable, all rout to an easy win over the opponent. I was amazed to see how Jason Jun could team up so well with Musselman. They should have done that a long time ago. I think the Musselman by nature is an inside player (since Anglican High School). He should stay inside to team up with Jason Jun more often.
And dont make wild guesses. Superman is Jason Jun! Hoooo ooo oo o ~ ~
