Spent a short time at S9 with Sc, JT, and Cynthia. then went to pick up YL and went for dinner at Katong with DF, H and Winnie. DF's brother, DX, was busy cooking in the kitchen, so didnt really join us for the meal. DF this fellow didnt turn up for H and my wedding, so dinner on him! Afterwhich, we had a very exciting conversation ....

We learnt that he quit Army, and joined his dad in the Fengshui business. Then they also sideline "ghostbuster" job ... Well, check it out, www.ghostbuster99.com

NBA

I witnessed one of the very exciting NBA games this year: San Antonio Spurs playing at Dallas Mavericks! Spurs was facing elimation, trailing Mavericks by one game in the best of seven series where Dallas leads the series 3 - 2. It was a close game through-out, and Spurs eventually survived and force a Game 7, which very likely to be played tomorrow.

Not only the Spurs made it, the defending Eastern Conference Champions also beat the Cleveland Caviliers, by merely two points. Replay showed that the Detroit Pistons almost tipped in their own rebound and tied the game. they were lucky, Chauncy missed it, and the 7-ft Centre missed the tip-in too. The other stubborn team is the Los Angeles Clippers, who beat the Phoenix Suns in game 6 and tied the series at 3 - 3.

Looking back, I felt real disappointed with the Lakers. They were the championship team calibre. And yet, they couldnt recover the series from the Detroit Pistons in the 2004 NBA Finals. They were beaten 4 - 1. What is this? I felt sorry for Karl, and probably Gary as well. They should have doen better than that.

Even for the Lakers today, they couldnt finish the Suns after leading yet 3 - 1. And worst of all, they were thrashed by the Suns in Game 7, offer little or no resistance and allow them to cruise off to an easy victory. Just as Phil said it, * it's a shame that they didnt give them a hard time to win the game *. Think he said something like that, reported by ESPN. I hope I got it right.

It simply proves to everyone that they are still not a team to watch out for. Not a championship team contender. I hope they prove people wrong within the next three years.

Lakers still my favourite, as long Phil is there. It's always exciting to see his coached-team play, like the triangle offense, which I adored it when playing the NBA Live 2003. I dont quite like the rest of the versions. NBA Live 2003 still the best!

Mighty Tank 2

I sent YL to work in sister's car. Then go straight to office and collect Sc's fish tank. The initial plan was to go to his house and collect it. Anyway, he's coming back to office to do some OT. Thanks pal.

Afterwhich, I proceed to Clementi. I felt the tank was a bit small, and I thought *why dont I just use that for my beta fish "battle ground?* I bought the rest of the equipment like air pump, food, etc and headed back to home. DJ offered to bring me to Tiong Bahru and view some fishes, but must picked him and his wife at Queensway. I didnt know the way ... so too bad for me!

I bought some fishes, worth $20 in all. The rest of the equipment, like the tank plus light, cost $70 plus. Not bad, my mum sponsored it though (total, $130) ... haha Thanks Ma...

After setting up the tank at Punggol, had dinner with Ma and Sis, I went home and immediately introduced the fishes to the new environment. Yeah I bought a white male beta, very chio. 5 bucks only. Two Lilys, some runny nose, cardinal tetras and etc.

Two dead bodies found.

YK drove the BMW here and brought us out to lunch at the mushroom pot. Very delicious indeed. And very full. Slept in the car on the return trip.

Was packing stuff for my trip to Hangzhou and Shanghai. Sh**, the luggage is too full ...

Talking with Cacia

Had two half-boiled eggs from Sc, and a hot panake from boss in the morning. Then had a so-so lunch at prawn noodle shop at Far East Square. For whatever reason, I dont know how the topic was brought up, that guys should put on the wedding band and stuff. Cut. Sc suggested about trapping one in a room full of balloons. Well, I thought, the hair will all go white, like Hwa Ying Xiong ...

It was 5.30 pm in the evening when I on the dot left the office. Halfway on the road, rains. Yeah I can remember you saying *Be careful on the road*. Went to Chai Chee Techno Park and had a conversation with the HR Manager. No, only realised she was the Assistant HR Manager during the initial introduction. Woops, I forgot to say *how are you doing*

This was a good discussion of learning. It lasted like 2 hours. She spent a real good time in learning the job that I do ifor the past fours years with SR. I also took the opportunity to learn what's expected from her/her boss. I felt real good, as compared to the last interview with S .... something. DJ is with the company. The HR director, coupled with a few of the HR personnel, basically only spent less than 10 mintues with me. I wonder what's he looking for. Or probably just looking for some chio babes to join his HR team. I could see one 'senior' HR officer there, who didnt ask a thing at all. I'm glad that I didnt join them. DJ wanted to go on leave and kenna activated and called back to office. What kind of sick-ass company is that man? HR Director somemore ... Middle finger rolling ...

*pui*.

Not sure if this will go though. I hope so. I got no choice but to leave SR for whatever reasons. it's best for me to leave and start a new chapter of my life. I wonder if this fail again, as I always do, what would happen next. SIEG? nah ...

So, no Fengshui for me. No Davin Chi Code for me. Yeah, I returned the DVD to Sc already.

Had dinner with YL at Bedok market just now. The kuay chap very nice ... better than the prawn noodle ...


I stood infront of my mighty tank for a long while while. I think got about 1 plus hours. I was just wondering, observing, pondering, and guessing, who the hell are the murderers! 8 dead bodies were found, lying flat on the tankbed, trapping in between the ;eaves of the water plants. Bitten marks, were evident on the dead. I witnessed myself, two gone in a span of an hour. I expect another four to go. I saw some white marks on the body already. And they are weak. Why? Why? Why? Must be the new fishes I introduced two days ago. Either they got some disease from the shop, or they are just simply the, MURDERERS!

The first suspects were the Lilys. I have taken them out and put them with the female betas. I put a blue male beta in, to teach them a lesson. I may be wrong of them, because according to experts, they are not the aggressive types. You know what? We'll see tomorrow. We'll see if there are any tetra or beta casualties.
