Michael: I don't know, Kevin, I never checked.
Kevin: Well my dad's stereo is a Bose.
Michael: What? Your Dad's stereo blows? Well that's too bad!

Michael Newman is a workaholic architect who works hard to keep his wife and kids happy. One night, Michael was frustrated (probably under stress) with the various remote controls he had at home and couldnt find one that operated on the right machine. He went off to an open store that in search for an universal remote control so as to make his life easier. At the Bed, Bath, & Beyond store, Michael meets Morty, the inventor of a very advanced piece of technology, a remote control that not only controls his TV, but controls his whole LIFE.
