am not sure if this is the correct phrase to use. according to wee chow hou, "the first means to put oneself in a position where there is no turning back, forcing a final and powerful response from the enemy. The second is to lure the enemy into a position where it cannot turn back, cut off its supplies and eventually destry it."
apparently, it works. and am on the high side for the luck ...
